Today our Year 9 students took part in a powerful Reflection Day centred on the themes of social justice, inspired by the work of St Vincent de Paul and Marist 180.
Through prayer, discussion, and Scripture, students explored what it means to live out the Gospel by caring for those in need. Together, we reflected on how we can be Christlike in our world — standing up for dignity, compassion, and justice for all.
A big thank you to all who made the day meaningful and inspiring!

Congratulations to Adam (Year 12), who is the 2025 Marist College Kogarah recipient of the Archbishop of Sydney Award for Student Excellence. This prestigious award recognises students who embody their Christian values and make meaningful contributions to the faith life of their school.

Adam’s quiet leadership, deep commitment to his faith, and active participation in the mission of the Church have been an inspiration to many.

A collection of extraordinary visual art pieces inspired by the theme "Saints Anchored in Hope" were unveiled at the recent opening of this year’s Clancy Religious Art Prize and Exhibition.

The exhibition features the artwork ‘Echoes of Grace’ by Year 8 student Gabriel D, who chose to paint a detailed building of St Peter’s Basilica, to "represent the legacy of papal leadership, from the foundational role of Saint Peter, to Pope Leo XIV, guiding us in hope." Also showcased, is a collaborative photographic series "In Celebration of St Marcellin Champagnat" by Year 10 students Ethan Z, Michael E and Alexander Z. Their photos capture the quiet movement and spiritual depth of the Feast Day celebration of our patron saint.

The exhibition will remain open to the public at the McGlade gallery until 19 September.

Well done to these talented young artists!

As tradition, on Thursday morning, Mr Saludo, Mr Gorscak and Mr Lauria from the MCK TAS Department joined the Father’s Day celebration at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Rockdale. Students finished and assembled laser-cut custom keychains for their dads, which were gifted on the spot!

Happy Father’s Day! ✨
