🚴‍♂️ An incredible time at the @sydcatholicschools Mountain Biking Gala Day! From loading bikes at dawn to cheering in the heat, our riders showed pure grit and teamwork.
James & Harvey (Year 10) set the pace and the Juniors followed. Our riders powered through to claim silver and bronze in the all ages relay 🥈🥉
Our red and white stood out in a display of camaraderie and Marist spirit.

This afternoon, we celebrated and farewelled Mrs Roebuck, who is leaving the College after 16 years of outstanding teaching and leadership.

Mrs Roebuck embodies the Marist charism — her presence, family spirit, simplicity, love of work, and actions in the way of Mary leave a lasting legacy at Marist College Kogarah.

Mrs Roebuck, “May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; may the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”

St Mary’s Cathedral was filled with prayer and anticipation yesterday morning as our Year 10 students joined hundreds of young Catholics from across Sydney for a special World Youth Day Mass.

The liturgy officially launched the journey towards World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea, under the theme “Rise Up!”.

Our students participated with great reverence and enthusiasm, uniting in prayer as the Church in Australia begins preparing for this significant global gathering of Catholic youth. It was a powerful reminder of the vitality and faith of our young people as they prepare to carry the Gospel with courage and joy.
