Day 3 Year 7 Camp 🏕️

The final countdown!

Our last day saw students form groups and compete in a series of challenges, earning points in the race to be crowned overall champions. These activities tested their problem solving, resilience, teamwork and ability to work together under pressure and the boys rose to the occasion.

Looking back across the three days, camp has been an outstanding experience. From stepping outside comfort zones in new activities, to building friendships, showing resilience and embracing every opportunity, the growth in our students has been clear to see. The staff could not fault the effort, attitude and spirit the boys brought each day.

To top it all off, we also had the chance to celebrate the birthdays of two of our own, a great moment of connection to finish camp on a high. 🎉

Thank you to our parents and families for your trust and support. It is a privilege to share in experiences like this with your sons.

Day 2 – Year 7 Camp ☀️🏕️

A perfect day of sunshine and even better energy from our Year 7 boys!

Students continued rotating through Sailing, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Archery Tag and Initiative Games, embracing every opportunity with enthusiasm and teamwork. It’s been fantastic to see all students fully engaged and making the most of each experience.

The evening brought plenty of excitement with our Mini Olympic Games — cabin vs cabin — full of friendly competition, spirit and plenty of laughs. 🏅

We topped off the night with a special treat that brought everyone together, a great way to finish another memorable day.

Day 2 done. Looking forward to a good night’s rest and heading home tomorrow!

'Big Day In' events provide a unique opportunity for students to explore the world of technology and gain insight into university life. A group of Year 11 students attended the Sydney Big Day In event at UTS in Week 6. The sessions provided students with opportunities to visit exhibitor stands and speak with company and university representatives, learn about courses, degrees, work experience, internships, and engage with hands-on demonstrations of awesome technology. Students were provided with valuable information that will help them make informed decisions about their future. #bigdayin #mckogarah

Day 1 – Year 7 Camp 🌧️🏕️

A wet and wild start to camp, but nothing stopped the energy and enthusiasm of our Year 7 Students! 💪

Students took on Sailing, Kayaking and Archery Tag in their first rotations, showing great teamwork, resilience and spirit throughout the day. We wrapped things up tonight with whole-group activities in the gym, bringing everyone together for plenty of laughs and fun.

All students are now back in their cabins, reflecting on the day and gearing up for an exciting Day 2 ahead. Bring it on!
